Getting started
How do I make captions?
Drop a video on the home screen. In the editor, click the language button at the top, pick the language spoken in the video and click Generate. Captions appear in a few seconds.
How do I fix a wrong word?
Double-click the line in the Captions list and type. Put *stars* around a word to make it big.
What does Auto edit do?
It styles your captions like a pro editor: a big hook word behind you in the first seconds, punch words, one accent colour, and text placed in clean space away from your face. Everything stays editable, and Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes it.
Videos and storage
Where are my videos kept?
On this computer, for fast editing, and in your private cloud storage so you can open projects on any device. On the Free plan, cloud videos are kept for 7 days.
My upload stopped.
Uploads continue by themselves from where they stopped when your internet comes back, even after you close the app. Just open the project again.
How big can my video be?
It depends on your plan. See pricing.
Exporting
Which export should I use?
- MP4: ready to post on Instagram, YouTube Shorts or anywhere.
- Transparent .mov: captions only, to place on top in Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve.
- Green / blue screen: captions on a flat colour, for editors that key it out.
- SRT / VTT: plain subtitle files for YouTube or players.

How do I cancel or change my plan?
Account menu → Plan and usage. See the refund policy.
How do I delete my data?
Delete single projects from the home screen, or your whole account from Account menu → Delete my account.
